Typická Allenova persona a její stěžejní rysy

Předmětem zkoumání je typická persona, která se již od šedesátých let 20. století objevuje v díle amerického komika, herce, režiséra, spisovatele a dramatika Woodyho Allena. Tato práce představuje okolnosti, jež Woodyho Allena formovaly, jednotlivé žánry jeho tvorby i filmové a literární vlivy, které na něj působily. Pozornost je věnována také roli židovského humoru a tradičním postavám nešiků a smolařů. Hlavní část práce se zabývá stěžejními rysy Allenovy persony a otázkami, na něž protagonisté děl tohoto autora stále znovu hledají odpovědi.


This work deals with the typical persona who has appeared in the work of the American comedian, actor, director, writer and dramatist Woody Allen since the 1960s. The book presents the environment which has shaped Woody Allen, the individual genres represented in his work as well as the main literary and film influences. Attention is also paid to the role of Jewish humor and the traditional comic character of a loser. The main part of this work deals with the most significant features of the Allen persona, and the questions the protagonists of Allen’s works have tried to find answers to.
